Use ratings with posts, or place a widget on its own

FeedbackWP Premium extends the rating functionality of the Rate My Post extension for WordPress. Visitors can rate posts, pages, or other content, then provide private feedback. Rating and result widgets can appear automatically or through shortcodes.

For existing content, Premium supports rating and feedback result widgets on custom post types and can add ratings to posts without votes. Custom rating widgets can also work independently of a post or page.

Choose the component for the task

• Rating widget: Collect ratings with Stars, Thumbs, Hearts, Smileys, or Trophies.
• Results widget: Display the rating result for a post or page.
• Feedback widget: Collect private feedback after a user rates content.
• Social widget: Use the included social widget.
• Top rated posts widget: Display posts with the highest ratings.

Placement depends on your content setup

Use [ratemypost] for a rating widget and [ratemypost-result] for a results widget. You can pass a post ID to display the rating or result for a particular post. Settings can also add rating widgets to all posts or pages, with exclusions for selected content such as an About Us page.

Change text and colors in the options or tailor the display with templates. Compatibility with infinite scroll plugins and popups can help with dynamic layouts, though implementation is required.

Post-level schema and rating entries

The advanced schema selector lets you choose a schema type in each post editor. This configures the structured data associated with ratings. A statistics section shows vote totals and average ratings. Analytics can include rating time, username, title, and time spent on the page before rating; IP address recording is optional. Ratings can also be changed in the administration panel.

Setup

Add and activate FeedbackWP Premium on your WordPress website, then configure the rating, result, feedback, schema, and display settings. Choose automatic placement or insert the available shortcodes where needed.
