Impressum Plus

Impressum Plus extends Impressum, a WordPress extension that guides you through dashboard forms and generates an imprint within your WordPress installation. Plus adds fields for a wider range of legal entities, along with privacy, accessibility, multisite, and development utilities. Imprint data stays in your installation rather than being sent to a third-party server.

Enter and publish imprint details

Complete the guided form fields with the information needed for your imprint, then review the generated content. Add the Imprint block where you want it to appear, or use the [impressum] shortcode. Information displayed on your website is public to users.

When legal requirements change, Impressum updates generated legal content automatically when it can. If a change cannot be made automatically, it asks for your help.

Impressum Plus supports AG, e.K., e.V., eG, Einzelkaufmann, GbR, GesbR, gGmbH, GmbH, GmbH & Co. KG, KG, KGaA, OHG, Partnership, UG (haftungsbeschränkt), and UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG.

Setup

1. Install and activate Impressum Plus in WordPress.
2. Complete the guided form fields with your imprint information.
3. Review the generated content and add the Imprint block where it should appear.
4. Alternatively, place the [impressum] shortcode in the appropriate page or content area.
5. Configure the privacy policy or accessibility information generator, multisite preset, REST API, or WP-CLI workflow as needed.
