Schema controls for WordPress and AMP
Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP Pro adds Schema.org markup in JSON-LD format to WordPress content for Google Rich Snippets. Use it to structure information about articles, products, businesses, events, reviews, recipes, videos, and other content. AMP compatibility covers AMP for WP and AMP by Automattic.
The extension includes more than 35 schema types, such as Blog Posting, News Article, Local Business, WebPage, Article, Recipe, Product, VideoObject, Course, QAPage, Review, Event, JobPosting, Service, Trip, SoftwareApplication, MobileApplication, Person, and property and location types.
Reuse templates and choose where they apply
Schema Templates let you define a set of markups and reuse it with the main schema types. In Gutenberg, Schema Type Blocks add JSON schema markup as you make block-based content.
Conditional Display Fields let you include or exclude posts, pages, post types, taxonomies, and more. Knowledge Base Support uses a data type option to recognize content about an organization or a person. Unlimited Custom Post Types give you control over how Rich Snippets data is represented in Google Search Console.
Reviews, imports, and integrations
The Review Module makes rating boxes with pros and cons and adds their schema markup. Pro functions also include Google business reviews and their schema markup, with reviews fetched from more than 75 platforms.
Import data from other schema plugins, including SEO Pressor, WP SEO Schema, and Schema Plugin. The plugin also works with schema markup for integrations such as kk Star Ratings, WP-PostRatings, bbPress, Easy Liveblogs, wpForo, RealtyPress Premium, Discount Rules, WP Job Board Pro, and EventPrime.
Output options and setup
Output options include defragmenting markup, adding it in the footer, Pretty Print, and MicroData cleanup. The plugin also supports JSON-LD, archive page listings, breadcrumbs, comments, and post comments, with a setup wizard and a minimal-settings approach.
Install and activate the plugin, then go to Dashboard > Structured data > Settings to configure defaults. Open Structured Data > Add New to choose schema data, then set the types, templates or show conditions, and output options. If the site uses AMP for WP or AMP by Automattic, configure the corresponding compatibility option. When migrating from another schema plugin, import its data before checking representative pages.
