Arrange announcements by date
Timeline Express Pro displays dated announcement posts in animated vertical timelines on WordPress sites. Set a date for each entry, then select ascending or descending order. Timelines can present company or customer histories, product roadmaps, event entries, personal achievements, police or fire histories, and other date-based collections.
Dates use localized formatting. For dates before 1970, the listing points to a separate Historical Dates Add-On, which works with dates from 1000 through 9999 and works with the free and Pro editions.
Separate timelines and filter entries
Create multiple timelines for different histories, projects, departments, or collections. Assign each announcement to one timeline or to all available timelines. Categories provide another way to group entries: visitors can filter announcements by category on the front end, and sorting can use the category, timeline, or both.
Set the show details
Choose a custom picture and an icon for each announcement from the included Font Awesome collection, which contains hundreds of icons. Set excerpt length, hide dates, or remove the read more link. Pro also offers tighter spacing between announcements. The responsive layout adjusts to screen size and announcement content, with CSS3 animation effects.
