Watu PRO

Watu PRO is a WordPress extension for creating quizzes, exams, tests, surveys, polls, and questionnaires for education, training, assessment, and feedback. Add an assessment to a post or page with a shortcode, or use automatic publishing. Results can appear after a participant completes it.

Choose question types and scoring

Use single-choice, multiple-choice, open-end essay, required, and survey questions. Survey questions can work without a correct or incorrect state. Assign points to answers and define point levels for grades; Watu PRO totals the points collected to determine a grade. Grades can also represent personality types.

Choose when participants see answers: immediately after selecting an answer or at the end of the quiz. This lets you set up feedback during a quiz or results after completion.

Organize questions and set their order

Group questions into categories and filter by category. Deactivate questions when they should not appear, randomize question order, or select random questions from a pool. Questions can also be imported from a CSV file.

Review participants and results

Student logins are included among Watu PRO capabilities. Administrators can review a list of visitors who took tests and their results, use reports and data analysis, and export results to CSV for work outside WordPress. A basic bar chart compares a visitor's points with the quiz average.

Configure delivery and notifications

Quizzes can be scheduled for a defined date and time interval. Administrators can receive a notification when someone takes a quiz, and participants can receive their results by email. Results can also be shared on Facebook and Twitter. The interface is designed for mobile and touch use.

Quiz results can load through Ajax, with an option to switch to regular loading. Watu PRO also includes functions related to personal data handling: it does not store IP addresses and hooks a personal data eraser into WordPress tools. MailChimp connection is available through the Watu to MailChimp Bridge.

Set up an assessment

In the WordPress dashboard, open Watu Quizzes, make a quiz, exam, or survey, and add questions and categories. Configure points, grades, answer show, notifications, and scheduling, then publish the assessment in a post or page with a shortcode or use automatic publishing.
