WP Email Template Pro

WP Email Template Pro and WP Email Template Premium are paid editions of WP Email Template. They apply a responsive HTML template to WordPress messages and supported extension emails that pass through wp_mail(). Use the template for customer messages, administrative notifications, store emails, form submissions, security alerts, and other eligible mail.

The template is optimized for popular email environments, including Apple iOS devices, Microsoft Outlook, Hotmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Google Gmail, Android devices, Windows Live Desktop, and Mozilla Thunderbird.

Set the email appearance

Template options let you turn the layout on or off, change its width from the 600px default, choose a background colour, and enable or disable a background pattern. You can upload and position a header picture, then adjust its container background, border, and padding.

• Add footer content with the WordPress editor.
• Add social media links in the follow-us section.
• Use the additional dynamic style options available in Pro.

When the template is off, you can still use the plugin for sender configuration without wrapping every message in its HTML styling.

Configure an email sending provider

Provider settings include SMTP through your server, Gmail SMTP, Mandrill through its API or SMTP, and SparkPost through its HTTP API or SMTP API. These options let you configure a preferred sending method for WordPress and plugin-generated email when you use a provider beyond your web host's local mail server. The selected provider handles delivery.

Apply the template to supported plugin email

Supported plugin email includes output from Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Formidable Forms, WooCommerce, WP e-Commerce, BackupBuddy, and Wordfence. WooCommerce email can be ignored by default or included for consistent store branding. WP e-Commerce emails to clients and administrators are supported.

Messages must pass through wp_mail() for the template to apply. A plugin that uses its own HTML email template may conflict with this one, and messages sent through the php() function are not covered.

Install and configure

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open the WP Email menu in the WordPress administration dashboard.
3. Open the Template submenu and add your styling.
4. Open the Send WP Mail submenu and configure your preferred email sending provider.

Choose the Pro or Premium edition for the advanced paid styling options identified for WP Email Template. Set the design and sending method in the administration workflow, then use the template with supported WordPress and plugin-generated email.
