Choose what gets published and where
The Post to Telegram module can send posts when they are published or updated. Send them to Telegram channels, groups, supergroups, or private chats, including multiple channels and chats. Posts can be routed to various channels by category, tag, author, or post type.
WooCommerce products and other custom post types are supported. Choose which post types to include and whether to send new posts, existing posts, or both. Custom rules can filter by author, category, tag, post format, or custom taxonomy term. You can send custom fields and taxonomy terms, and override settings from an individual post’s edit page.
Format messages and set their timing
Reusable message templates support emojis and conditional logic. Include a featured picture with the text or send the image on its own. Scheduled and future posts are supported, and you can delay messages by a specific interval. An inline button can link to the post URL. Unlimited reaction buttons are also supported.
Send selected email notifications to Telegram
The notifications module can deliver email notifications through Telegram. Supported sources include WooCommerce order notifications, Contact Form 7, and notifications from other extensions. Users can receive their email notifications on Telegram. The module integrates with WP Telegram Login so users can connect their Telegram account, or they can enter their Telegram Chat ID manually on the relevant page.
Set up the bot and connection
Install WP Telegram Pro on the WordPress website and open its settings. Create a Telegram bot with @BotFather using the /newbot command, then enter the Bot Token provided by Telegram in the plugin settings. Private channels and groups require the appropriate chat ID. Configure the destinations, templates, rules, notifications, and proxy options you need, then test the selected setup before regular use.
If the hosting environment blocks Telegram, the Proxy module can use a proxy to help bypass the block. Options include a Cloudflare worker proxy with file upload support, a custom Google Script proxy, and PHP-compatible HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A, SOCKS5, and SOCKS5_HOSTNAME proxies. Select the proxy type for the connection. Administrators can also extend the plugin with custom code through actions and filters; it is translation ready.
