Browse collections by folder
The Pro edition includes multi-level folder trees, nested folders, breadcrumbs, and sidebar folder navigation. You can set the search scope and use custom folder icons. Extra metadata columns can show information such as YouTube and external links.
Choose a layout and file access settings
Create a library from one folder or multiple folders, add a folder icon or custom title, and set the number of documents shown per page. Visitors can switch between library sections. Choose a grid or list layout, sort by document name, modified date, or file size, and provide attachment links or a download button.
Supported documents
The plugin works with files hosted in the WordPress Media Library, including PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX, ODT, XLS, XLSX, PSD, SVG, CAD, and DWG files. Supported formats also include Apple documents such as .numbers and .pages, and ebooks such as .prc, .epub, .mobi, .azw, and .djvu.
FileBird folders can organize manuals, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, ebooks, styling files, and other resources by department, topic, project, year, or another structure used by your site.
Requirements and editors
FileBird Document Library Pro requires the FileBird plugin, Free or Pro, version 5.0 or higher. Install and activate FileBird before using the document library block. Gutenberg is optional for creating and editing galleries. A page builder with shortcode support is also optional; Pro is useful when you need multiple libraries on various pages through page builders.
