WordPress plugin
FluentPlayer Pro
FluentPlayer brings video and audio playback to WordPress with in-player forms and email capture. Viewers can respond while watching, and captured contacts can go to FluentCRM and trigger automations. Fluent Forms payment fields can support a course purchase, webinar registration or another paid registration in the player.
Connect video playback to viewer actions
FluentPlayer brings video and audio playback to WordPress with in-player forms and email capture. Viewers can respond while watching, and captured contacts can go to FluentCRM and trigger automations. Fluent Forms payment fields can support a course purchase, webinar registration or another paid registration in the player.
Pro adds CTA banners, hotspots, ad layers and shortcode layers. Set a timestamp for a layer to appear and a duration for it to stay visible, then use conditional rules to control who sees it.
Use analytics and viewer rules
Per-video analytics report views, unique viewers, average watch time, completion rate and audience retention. The dashboard also shows new and returning viewers, top videos and customers, and device and location breakdowns. A retention graph identifies the points where viewers stop watching. Analytics data is stored in your WordPress database.
Layer conditions can check whether a viewer is logged in, is a FluentCRM contact, has a particular CRM tag or list, has submitted an email, matches a URL query parameter, or has already seen or completed a layer. Choose whether any rule or all rules must match.
Time content to the video
Timed Content shows a WordPress block region below the player that changes during playback. Assign blocks to time ranges; the region can hold a Fluent Forms form, button, text or another WordPress block.
Choose media sources and presentation
The player works with self-hosted video, YouTube, Vimeo and audio. Pro adds BunnyCDN Stream, BunnyCDN Storage, Mux, external URLs and HLS streaming. Playlists can use a standard or grid layout, with customizable colors, borders, typography and box shadows. Media tags help organize a growing library.
Pro includes custom subtitles, YouTube subtitle import, text and button overlays, customizable player presets and Remember Playback Position. The player also supports custom branding, poster pictures, title overlays, speed control, chapters, aspect ratio settings, language switching and HTML5 floating Picture-in-Picture.
Add the player to a WordPress page
Use the native Gutenberg block, a shortcode in the classic editor, or a page-builder workflow. The Load Strategy setting controls when the player script loads, which lets you defer videos below the fold. AJAX compatibility is included. FluentPlayer also integrates with FluentCommunity for video in community spaces and lessons.
Install and activate the plugin through WordPress, then configure it in FluentPlayer settings. Add a video with the block or shortcode, choose a media source and set the player appearance. Add analytics, playlists, subtitles or interactive layers as needed; if you use Fluent Forms, configure the form layer and its timing in the player.
