MainWP Pro

MainWP Pro provides access to premium integrations and extensions for the MainWP Dashboard, a free, open-source extension for managing multiple WordPress websites. The Dashboard runs on a WordPress website you host and connects to managed websites through the MainWP Child extension.

Choose add-ons for your workflow

Integrations connect the Dashboard with third-party services and plugins. Extensions are standalone add-ons built for the Dashboard. Choose and configure the add-ons that fit the utilities and processes you use.

Manage sites and client work

From the central Dashboard, you can run bulk updates for WordPress core, plugins and themes, and arrange scheduled or on-demand backups. The Client Management module helps organize sites and client relationships. Cost Tracker lets you record and categorize website expenses, set recurring costs, make cost reports, and track payments and upcoming renewals.

The Dashboard is self-hosted, so your management environment runs on your own WordPress site. MainWP describes its plugins as privacy-focused and states that they do not collect personally identifiable information. Developers can extend the Dashboard with hooks, CLI and its REST API.

Set up MainWP

1. Install the MainWP Dashboard on a private WordPress site.
2. Install the MainWP Child plugin on each site you want to manage.
3. Connect the child sites to the Dashboard.
4. Install and configure the MainWP Pro integrations or extensions that fit your workflow.

After setup, use the Dashboard to organize sites, review maintenance tasks, apply updates, arrange backups, and manage client and cost information.
