How translations move through your site
Multilanguage Pro adds translation utilities to WordPress websites with content and navigation in multiple languages. Editors can translate content manually in the administration area or use Google Translate integration for administration processes. Visitors can also use an automatic translation widget. Administrators and permitted customers can switch languages while editing, preview translations, and manage translation permissions by user role.
Choose a default language, choose from more than 80 pre-installed languages with language packs, or add custom languages. Smart language detection and a configurable language switcher help users reach a language version of the site.
Choose which content gets translated
Pro includes the features available in the free version and adds controls for advanced WordPress content. Translate pages, posts, categories, tags, custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields, category and tag descriptions, and post slugs. You can also translate the site title, tagline, widget titles, menus, and selected site components.
- Create a custom menu for each language.
- Use language-specific widgets and translate widget titles.
- Enable translation for any user role.
Set up navigation for each language
Place the language switcher in a menu or widget. Choose flags, text, or both, then set the display order. Custom menus and language-specific widgets let you provide different navigation and supporting information for each language.
Organize language URLs and extension compatibility
Multilanguage Pro generates hreflang tags automatically and includes optimized language URL structures, translation availability indicators, and Open Graph meta tag translation. It is compatible with Elementor Page Builder, Advanced Custom Fields, Yoast SEO, and WooCommerce. The plugin also works with the Classic Editor, Gutenberg, major SEO add-ons, RTL languages, and a translation-ready administration interface.
Install and configure the plugin
Install Multilanguage Pro in WordPress and open the plugin settings. Choose the default language, add or select language packs, and configure the switcher. Select the content types and site elements to translate, then add translations while editing pages, posts, custom content, menus, and widgets. Review the language URL and SEO settings before publishing.
Documentation, a user guide, installation help, and support resources are available for setup and troubleshooting. Pro users can also receive priority support within one business day.
