Premium Advanced Setup

Premium Advanced Setup adds controls to AdOpt's Easy Multi-Regulations Cookie Banner for WordPress. The banner asks new visitors for permission to use cookies and entries their choices. Returning visitors' choices are recognized, and visitors can later update or revoke consent.

Start with the standard banner

Install the plugin and enter your AdOpt BannerID Key for no-code installation. Basic options let you pick RGB or HEX colors and position the banner in the header, corners, top, or bottom of the page. Browser language recognition can show the notice in the user's default language. With Google Tag Manager connected, third-party tags can be blocked or released after approval; tags can also be pre-blocked.

Customize the notice and its behavior

Premium settings let you add a logo or custom pictures to the widget and adapt banner text by language and regulation. You can edit links, cookie categories, descriptions, and buttons. AdOpt describes consent workflows involving LGPD, CCPA, GDPR, PIPEDA, and France's CNIL-related requirements. The banner can respond to a visitor's country, language, and regulation, with examples including a GDPR-oriented "Reject All" button and CCPA-oriented "Do not Sell" or "Do not track" messages.

Visitors can choose how cookies and scripts are used. Use the same notice across selected URLs so consent decisions extend to those pages, and conceal the banner and widget after consent is recorded.

Review and manage consent

A single-click site scan lists third-party tags, which you can organize into cookie categories. The banner can link to your company's policies. Consent records can include full consent, partial consent, and opt-outs; cookies and related information can be imported or exported as CSV documents. Management data includes consent volume and opt-in or opt-out counts and details. AdOpt can also email the DPO when a visitor submits a privacy request.

Manage organizations and connect services

Place different URLs and banners into separate organizations to manage them independently. APIs and callbacks can connect services or a CRM with the AdOpt CookieID and related information. AMP compatibility is also included.

Install and configure

1. Install the AdOpt cookie banner add-on on the WordPress site.
2. Paste the AdOpt BannerID Key for no-code banner installation.
3. Set colors and positioning, then use Premium Advanced Setup to add branding and customize text.
4. Choose languages, regulations, URLs, categories, and banner behavior.
5. After the banner is active, review consent records and management data.
