SEO Ultimate+

SEO Ultimate+ is presented as the premium edition of SEO Ultimate, a WordPress extension with modules for title tags, meta descriptions, internal links, social data and other site options. Its premium description lists exclusive features, detailed training videos, custom revisions and dedicated one-to-one email support.

Set titles and descriptions

Title Tag Rewriter

By default, Title Tag Rewriter puts post titles at the beginning of the title tag. You can tailor the homepage title, set formats for posts, pages, categories, tags, archives and search results, or replace the complete title tag for an individual post, page, attachment, category, post tag or post format archive. Custom post types and custom taxonomies are supported. Choose output buffering or filtering as the rewrite method.

Meta Description Editor

Edit description tags for posts, pages, attachments, categories, tags, post format archives and the homepage. A mass editor helps add descriptions to older content. Use {excerpt::autogen} to generate a description from an excerpt when desired. Descriptions can influence the snippets shown in search results.

Manage internal links

Deeplink Juggernaut searches site content for specified anchor text and links matching text to a destination you choose. Destinations can be URLs or WordPress content and taxonomy entries, including posts, pages, attachments, custom post types, categories, terms, post format archives and custom taxonomy term archives. Autocomplete fields help find content and terms. Because links point to the selected objects, they can adjust automatically when a post or category URL changes.

Set limits for the number of autolinks per post or page, how often an anchor is linked, and how often content links to the same destination. A frequency dampener can reduce linking globally or for a specific link. Footer links can be set sitewide or for individual pages. Other listed controls include silo linking, per-link nofollow, link exclusions, and CSV import and export.

Social data and other modules

The Open Graph Integrator generates social metadata and works with summary-style and photo-style Twitter Cards. Rich Snippet Creator handles review and place data in Schema.org format. Other listed modules cover canonical tags, meta robots directives, 404 monitoring, permalink settings, link masks, and importing or exporting plugin settings.

Premium resources and compatibility

The plugin listing says its team does not provide forum support for SEO Ultimate. It describes SEO Ultimate+ as including dedicated one-to-one email support, training videos, custom revisions and additional features. The listing also identifies SEO Design Framework as a drag-and-drop, multipurpose WordPress theme created as a companion for SEO Ultimate+.

The listing says SEO Ultimate has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases. It may no longer be maintained or supported, and newer releases may have compatibility issues. Check compatibility before enabling the plugin. Install SEO Ultimate in WordPress and configure the modules you need; the premium resources are described as part of the SEO Ultimate+ upgrade.
