Design forms and place them on pages

Add fields with one click, drag them into order, mark fields as required, and duplicate a form you have already built. Custom CSS is supported, and fields can be arranged in two columns, three columns or a mix of layouts. Shortcodes place forms on posts or pages, including pages with multiple forms.

Choose fields and guide visitors

Field types include text inputs, textareas, checkboxes, radio buttons, select dropdowns, address fields, dates, email fields, URLs, currency, numbers, times, phone numbers, HTML, file uploads and fieldset sections. You can add plain or HTML-formatted instructions. Fieldsets group related fields, while required-field options and jQuery form validation help guide input.

Manage submissions and responses

Submissions are stored in the WordPress database and managed from the dashboard. Search entries, apply advanced filters, or use bulk actions to export them to CSV or delete them. Entry details can include the submission date and IP address. A setting can disable saving all entries for GDPR-related requirements.

After submission, display a customized confirmation message with HTML-formatted text, redirect users to a WordPress page, or send them to a custom URL. Send submissions to multiple email addresses, and configure a customized confirmation email with additional HTML text and a copy of the submitted entry as an email receipt.

Each form includes a simple text CAPTCHA. The extension also provides reCAPTCHA availability and Akismet support as additional spam-protection settings.

Create and place a form

1. Open Visual Form Builder > Add New and enter the form details.
2. Click fields in the box on the left to add them, open each field to edit its information, then drag fields into the desired order.
3. Select Save Form.
4. Place the form's shortcode on a post or page. A page can contain multiple forms.
