WP Go Maps works with Google Maps, Leaflet, OpenLayers, Microsoft Azure, Stadia Maps, MapTiler, LocationIQ, and Zero Cost. A Google Maps API key is required when you pick Google Maps. You can switch engines later without losing stored markers.
Build maps with organized markers
Add markers with a location, description, image, category, link, and directions. Use different marker icons or add your own; retina-ready icons are supported. Categories let visitors filter locations, while map mashups combine multiple maps into one map experience. For larger collections, Pro adds marker clustering and batched loading.
Import markers from CSV, KML, or KMZ documents, and export marker data to CSV for editing. These formats help manage location information in bulk.
Offer directions and location listings
Visitors can request directions to markers and use their map location as the starting or ending point. Display markers as a basic list, basic table, carousel, or advanced table so visitors can view location details alongside the map.
Configure store locator searches
Store locator settings include category-based search and use of a user’s location. You can conceal markers until a search is complete or move the marker list inside the map window. These controls help visitors narrow a directory before choosing a location.
Add maps to WordPress pages
Place maps in posts and pages with WordPress map blocks, classic map widgets, shortcodes, or Elementor integration. Pro map blocks include store locator, directions, infowindow, and filtering options. Create and configure a map, add its markers, then choose the block, widget, shortcode, or Elementor layout where it should appear.
