WP Multilang Premium
WP Multilang Premium organizes translations for posts and post types, taxonomies, meta fields, options, multimedia text fields, menus, titles, widgets, and comments. Posts, terms, menus, widgets, and comments can be managed by language, without duplicate posts, terms, menus, or widgets. Translation processing runs in PHP, with REST support. The extension also works with multisite and WordPress installations in a subfolder.
Language management across WordPress
WP Multilang Premium organizes translations for posts and post types, taxonomies, meta fields, options, multimedia text fields, menus, titles, widgets, and comments. Posts, terms, menus, widgets, and comments can be managed by language, without duplicate posts, terms, menus, or widgets. Translation processing runs in PHP, with REST support. The extension also works with multisite and WordPress installations in a subfolder.
Language versions do not require a separate subdomain for each language or additional database tables. Many languages are supported, and one localization can cover regional variations. You can also set custom HTML locales such as en, en-UK, or en-AU without installing another localization.
Translation methods
Premium features include automatic translation, URL slug translation, automatic slug translation where supported, and base translation for supported tasks. For work outside WordPress, export selected content in XLIFF or XML, complete the translation, then import it.
Translation rules can cover multidimensional arrays in options, meta fields, and post content. Manage options through JSON or use filters to apply them dynamically.
WooCommerce language workflows
Translate simple, variable, and grouped products, along with product categories, tags, and global attributes. WP Multilang can synchronize carts across languages and send customer emails in the customer's selected language.
Editors and integrations
The plugin supports the WordPress full website editor for block themes, block-based widgets, various featured images by language, and Smart Custom Fields. Premium compatibility is listed for Elementor, Divi Builder, Bricks Builder, and Oxygen Builder.
Other listed integrations include ACF and ACF Pro, Gutenberg, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Customizer, Yoast SEO, SEOPress, Contact Form 7, WPBakery, SiteOrigin Page Builder, NextGEN Gallery, Rank Math SEO, WPGraphQL, Gravity Forms, Forminator Forms, Fluent Forms, Ultimate Member, BuddyPress, TablePress, MailChimp for WordPress, and additional WordPress utilities.
Setup and compatibility
Install and activate the plugin through WordPress, then define the languages and translation settings for the website. Configure the post types, fields, taxonomies, menus, widgets, products, and other content that should have language versions. For external translation, export selected content in XLIFF or XML, complete the translation, and import it.
Plugin integrations can depend on how each plugin stores its data, so some content may need configuration through WP Multilang's JSON settings or filters to translate or save correctly. Test the setup in a staging environment and back up the site before activating it on an existing production site.
