WordPress plugin
WP Webhooks Pro
WP Webhooks Pro connects a WordPress site and its extensions with external services through webhooks and no-code automations. Send data when a website event occurs, receive a request to execute an action in WordPress, or join triggers and actions in a Flow that runs tasks in sequence. For example, a new visitor can trigger an email.

Send events and receive requests
The integration catalog references more than 100 integrations, including Zapier, Pabbly, Make, Integrately, and automate.io. POST is the default request method; GET, HEAD, PUT, DELETE, TRACE, OPTIONS, and PATCH are also supported. Requests can use XML, JSON, plain text or HTML, forms, and form URL-encoded data.
Automate WordPress records and plugin events
- Create or update users and user meta, including ACF fields, and add or remove multiple user roles.
- Create posts with post meta or update existing posts.
- Send data after a user logs in, registers, edits a profile, or confirms an email address. Gravity Forms and WPForms submissions can also trigger a webhook.
- Create WooCommerce orders from Airtable data, or send Paid Member Subscriptions and WP Simple Pay events to external services.
- Run PHP code from incoming data or fire an existing WP Webhooks trigger.
Manage and troubleshoot automations
Pro includes unlimited triggers, actions, and Flows, along with Pro integrations, features, and extensions. Test triggers and actions with a click, authenticate requests using API keys, bearer tokens, or Basic Authentication, and create unlimited webhook action URLs.
Use data mapping to manipulate incoming and outgoing information. Bulk webhook actions can start multiple actions at once. Shortcodes, custom links, buttons, and WordPress hook actions provide other ways to start an automation. Logs help with debugging; IP whitelisting, access tokens, and webhook URL action whitelisting add control. The plugin also includes whitelabel functionality and in-plugin extension management.
Expose actions as WordPress Abilities
On WordPress 6.9 or newer, you can expose selected WP Webhooks actions as WordPress Abilities. Exposure is off by default and controlled per action. Each ability has an input schema, an output schema, and a permission check, and is available through the WordPress REST API. An MCP server is needed for MCP clients such as Claude or Cursor to use these abilities. Read-only, destructive, and idempotent annotations help AI clients interpret them; exposing an action that changes data requires confirmation. Premium actions require an active license before exposure.
WP Webhooks can also run, list, and describe abilities registered on the site through an incoming webhook. You can configure which user runs these actions, while actions that change data remain behind a separate setting.
Connect AI services
WP Webhooks Pro includes integrations for Google Gemini, with Nano Banana support, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Open Router. Use them through webhooks for tasks such as content creation and data processing.
Configure a process
Install WP Webhooks in WordPress, then configure integrations, triggers, actions, or Flows in the plugin options. Authenticate external connections with a supported method and test the setup. Review logs as you refine data mapping and webhook permissions.
