Set currencies and rate updates

FOX Professional is a paid multi-currency switcher for WooCommerce. Add unlimited currencies so shoppers can view product prices in the currency they pick. Rates can come from more than seven currency aggregators or be entered manually. Schedule automatic updates hourly, twice daily, daily, weekly, monthly, or every 5, 15, 30, or 45 minutes. You can disable scheduled updates and maintain rates yourself, and optionally receive email notices about rate changes.

Place and style the switcher

Add the switcher to a widgetized area or insert the [woocs] shortcode where shoppers can find it, including a top menu. Choose a drop-down, flag display, or side switcher, and assign flags to currencies. Smart Designer offers controls for custom drop-down designs. Ajax-enabled shortcodes and widgets are also available for a currency converter and currency rates.

Set decimal precision for each currency, choose a standard or custom money sign and its position, and display or conceal cents. Custom money symbols and formats are supported, including for currencies that do not correspond to a real-world currency.

Set prices and location rules

Use fixed prices for individual products and currencies, amount rules, or prices based on user role and country. GeoIP rules can select currency based on a user's location, and rules can apply various prices or currencies by country. Payment rules can show or hide gateways according to the current currency. The plugin also includes an API for additional control.

Set fixed minimum amounts for free shipping and shipping, as well as coupon amounts and coupon verification limits, by currency. For custom separator behavior, the woocs_price_thousand_sep and woocs_price_decimal_sep hooks let developers set thousands and decimal separators according to currency or business logic.

Enable checkout in the selected currency

Shoppers can pay in their selected currency when the multiple-currency checkout option is enabled. FOX states compatibility with WooCommerce product filters, product feed utilities, booking and rental software, points and rewards software, and WPML. The listing reports compatibility with 95% of payment gateways in multi-currency mode.

Install and check your options

Install and activate FOX Professional, add currencies, then choose automatic or manual rates. Configure price formats and any product, location, role, or payment rules. Add the widget or [woocs] shortcode where the switcher should appear. If clients should pay in their selected currency, enable the multiple-currency checkout option and check the resulting cart and checkout behavior.
