Maintenance Page Pro

Maintenance Page Pro extends Maintenance Page for WordPress sites that are temporarily unavailable, undergoing an upgrade, or in development. It gives visitors a custom page to view while work is underway.

Set up the user page

The base plugin includes a responsive layout with options for a logo, background image or color, social icons, font color, title, and message. It also includes a subscriber field, downloadable subscriber list in CSV format, custom CSS, and page exclusions.

Choose options for the work in progress

• Show timing or status with a counter or progress bar.
• Let visitors get in touch through a contact form. The subscriber capability collects email addresses and can connect with MailChimp.
• Change the page's look with a background slider for multiple pictures or a background video. The options also include a Google font setting and font size control.
• Control who can view the maintenance page with an IP Whitelist for specified addresses or role-based access.
• Add analytic code to the page or provide additional information with an About Page.

Activate and check the page

Install and activate Maintenance Page, then go to Settings → Maintenance Page → General and check Activate the Maintenance Page. Configure the branding, background, message, social icons, subscriber field, and any Pro options the site needs.

If the changes do not appear, check in another browser while logged out. When caching plugins are active, purge the cache while testing activation and styling changes.

The add-on listing says it has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may have compatibility issues. Its current compatibility should be checked before use.
