After a user enters a password, the page refreshes by default. Enable inline unlocking in Advanced Unlock Behaviour to reveal protected content without a refresh. Cookies can grant access across multiple protected areas, and you can tailor the password form’s design, labels, and descriptions.
Assign access to people and groups
Use different passwords for different users or groups, or make and manage password lists in the WordPress administration area. Quick Edit and Bulk Edit apply protection to multiple pages. You can also grant access by user role or email address. Google reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha are available as additional protection settings.
Set limits and share unlock links
Passwords can expire after a set number of uses, after their first use, or after a time interval measured in hours, days, or weeks. Passster Pro entries password use and expiration details. Encrypted unlock links let users open protected content without entering a password, and Bit.ly can shorten links automatically. Tools to track and prevent concurrent password sharing help you manage how access is distributed.
Protect store content and review activity
The WooCommerce integration can protect products, store pages, and checkout. You can also sell access to protected content, with passwords generated and emailed automatically after purchase. Usage statistics show when and how often passwords are used, including the first use date and, optionally, IP information and browser details.
Configure Passster Pro
Install Passster in WordPress, activate the paid edition, then select the content or store areas to protect and set the passwords or access rules. Customize the visitor-facing form as needed. For larger sites, prepare password lists and use Quick Edit or Bulk Edit to apply protection to multiple pages. Primary texts and information can be changed in the administration area; the plugin can also be translated with .po/.mo documents and works with WPML and Polylang.
