Responsive Slider Pro

Responsive Slider Pro presents linked images and titles in a jQuery-powered WordPress slideshow. Each slide can point to any URL, and you can pick the slide order. Use it for homepage promotions, featured content, service highlights, product links, or other visual navigation.

Choose placement and fit

Add the slider to a theme template, or insert [responsive_slider] in a page or post. The slider adjusts to its container width. In a responsive WordPress theme, its basic responsive behavior needs no additional theme CSS or JavaScript changes. A non-responsive theme can also supply a container, and the slider’s behavior depends on that container’s width.

The add-on offers CSS you can override in your theme. To change the appearance, identify the relevant slider styles and copy your adjusted rules into the theme’s CSS file.

Configure and organize slides

After activation, find Slides in the WordPress administration menu under Pages. Open Slides > Settings to configure the available slider settings, then use Slides > Add New Slide to create and organize slide content.

Install and add the slider

1. Upload the responsive-slider plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
2. Activate the plugin through the WordPress Plugins menu.
3. Open Slides > Settings and configure the slider options.
4. Create slides under Slides > Add New Slide.
5. Insert the slider in a theme template or add [responsive_slider] to a post or page.

Responsive Slider Pro is the paid edition associated with Pro access, customer support, and a collection of WordPress themes. The plugin is intended for self-hosted WordPress installations, rather than WordPress.com. Usage details are available in docs/readme.html.
