WordPress conversion tracking

Pixel Cat Premium is the paid edition of Pixel Cat, a WordPress conversion tracking extension. Pixel Cat can connect a site with Facebook Pixel, Conversions API, or Google Analytics Pixel. Premium includes Custom and Dynamic Events to the Standard Events supported by the base plugin. Its point-and-click builder lets you configure Facebook Pixel event rules without custom code.

Events and audience conditions

Custom Events let you describe website behavior in more detail when a Standard Event does not fit. Dynamic Events can trigger based on time spent on the site or clicks on selected buttons and links. A time delay can hold a selected event until a visitor has spent the chosen amount of time on the site, excluding quicker exits from that tracking activity.

Build Custom Audiences from pages, posts, categories, and tags visitors view, as well as links and buttons they use. These rules group visitors by site activity; event rules determine when tracking events fire.

Event parameters

Pixel Cat Premium can add the HTTP referrer, post categories, post tags, and Google Analytics UTM tags to event parameters. Supported conversion events can also include price and currency, providing the amount and currency associated with the tracked action.

Commerce integrations

WooCommerce support includes Facebook Pixel event tracking and a product feed for creating Dynamic Product Ads and Custom Audiences around product activity.

Easy Digital Downloads support includes one-click setup for Facebook Pixel tracking. Its event tracking and product feed support retargeting prospects, personalizing ads, and tracking sales-related activity, including for Dynamic Product Ads and Custom Audiences.

Setup and team exclusions

Install Pixel Cat Premium on your WordPress site, open the Pixel Cat options, and connect the relevant pixel or analytics service. Use the visual builder to choose event behavior, audience conditions, and parameters. For a commerce site, configure the available WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads integration.

You can hide Facebook Pixel tracking from logged-in users, including selected WordPress visitor levels such as administrators, editors, and contributors, to keep team activity out of advertising data.
