Internal Linking of Related Contents Premium places related posts inside WordPress articles or groups them at a chosen location within the content. These recommendations help readers find related material as they browse and can help increase page views and reduce bounce rate.

Automatic matching can use categories or post tags. Premium search options also support post titles and custom keywords. For context-aware recommendations, the AI-powered capability can use OpenAI or local Ollama models to choose content by meaning and context.

Set placement, pictures, and display rules

Add custom keywords to individual posts, or use bulk editing to add or remove keywords for selected posts. Choose which devices display related content, exclude categories, post tags, or individual posts, and set how recommendations are ordered.

Related content can also appear for specific custom post types and WordPress pages. For pages, recommendations can link to child pages or use custom keywords. You can remove the call-to-action text from related posts, and AMP support is available for supported display needs.

Alongside inline recommendations, you can group related articles in a specific content location. The Premium edition adds 12 templates with layouts and styles for related content sections. Set a placeholder picture for posts without a featured image, or choose a custom featured image for manually selected posts added through the shortcode, Gutenberg block, or Elementor widget. Image controls can hide posts without featured images and set the displayed image width and height.

Review generated links and clicks

Internal link counts display how many related content links the plugin generates across posts and pages. Counts update automatically, and utilities are available to recalculate outdated values.

Click statistics help you examine visitor interactions with related content links. Use filters, hourly charts, device data, and detailed click events to review link activity.

Display selected posts in your editors

Gutenberg blocks display a selected related post using the add-on settings, with template and display options available to customize in the editor. Elementor widgets provide the same type of selected-post display and customization within Elementor.

Install and configure the plugin

Install and activate Internal Linking of Related Contents to enable it. The plugin adds an admin page for managing related-content behavior, tracking, and display controls. Configure the search engine, exclusions, templates, images, and integrations for how related posts should appear across your WordPress content.
